SDS SHIPPING PVT. LTD. was Established in 1983 by Capt. Vinod Kumar Singh Saigal in Mumbai. Initial schooling at Scindia School Gwalior an elite school recognised by the Govt of India run by the Maharaja Scindia of Gwalior known for epitone in discipline and training. College education at St. Xavier’s College Mumbai and moved to merchant navy the great eastern shipping company the leading private shipping organisation of India.
Commenced shipping business in the year 1983 attending to various ship owners from Greece, Turkey & USA. Ship owning for a period of five years but moved out during the previous depression and focused fully on the ship agency business from the last crises in shipping i.e from 2008.
Our Head Office is at Mumbai and we cover all the ports on the vast Indian Coastline. During the last 39 Years we have handled various Bulk / General and Tanker Vessels calling at all Indian Ports and also at Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Attending vessel as owners protective agents. Meet the Master for daily requirements. Negotiate the Proforma disbursement account.
Ship's spares arriving from owners can be cleared at Airport and then escorted to the vessel.
We carryout crew change by co-ordinating with customs / immigration authorities.
We can arrange stores / provisions / second-hand spares supply as per owners/master's requirements
We can provide charts and publications as per Master / Owners requirements.
We can arrange CTM to Master through "Ebixcash" without any service charge to SDS.
For vessels calling Indian ports cargo gear certificate is compulsory and same can obtained at very competitive price.
Medical services in co-ordination with PNI correspondent can be organised.
Repair facilities to vessels can be arranged by respective class approved workshop.
We can arrange for freight tax exemption for countries which are having double taxation avoidance agreement with India.
Sludge / Bilge water disposal through port authorised company and issuance of certificate as per Marpol can be arranged.
Pre Purchase Inspection on behalf of buyers can be arranged at any port in India / Sri Lanka / Pakistan and Bangladesh
Port Captain can be provided for smooth loading / discharging operations and attending to Master's cargo related matters.
Bunkers (Bonded / Duty paid) can be arranged at short notice.
Arrangement of class authorised diving companies for carrying out underwater inspection / cleaning
We can provide coastal licence from Director General of Shipping for vessel trading for coastal voyages.
We can provide fresh water as per Master / Owners requirements.
